About The Lighthouse Legacy
Where service became a calling.
A family story shaped by hospitality, hard work, and the belief that how we treat people matters.

ong before The Lighthouse Legacy Group became a business, The Lighthouse was a place.

My father, Andrew Robinson of Elizabethtown, North Carolina, and his brother owned The Lighthouse, a restaurant by day and bar/nightclub at night. As a teenager, I spent countless hours there after school doing whatever needed to be done. At the time, I didn’t realize I was learning hospitality. I was learning how to welcome people, serve them, solve problems, sell, manage, and—most importantly—how much the way you treat people matters. Those early lessons became the foundation for a career that now includes more than 20 years of customer service experience and 12 years in the hospitality industry. Throughout my career, I have worked in hotel sales and leadership, supported different hotel brands and properties, stepped into task-force assignments, and experienced firsthand what it takes to enter a property, understand its needs, build relationships with an existing team, and get to work. That experience is also why I understand both sides of a task-force assignment. I understand what a hotel needs when a key leadership position is vacant or a property is going through a difficult transition. I also understand what it is like to be the professional walking into an unfamiliar property away from home and being expected to lead.
The Lighthouse Legacy Group was built from both perspectives. We help hospitality organizations navigate leadership gaps, operational challenges, transitions, and special projects with experienced leadership and hands-on consulting support. Our goal is not simply to fill an open position. It is to understand what the property actually needs, match the right professional to that need, stay involved throughout the assignment, and help create stability while the client determines what comes next. Years later, when it was time to build a company of my own, I kept coming back to where it all began. The Lighthouse Legacy Group is my way of carrying that legacy forward—taking the lessons I learned at The Lighthouse, the experience I gained throughout my career, and using both to help other hospitality businesses succeed.
